    Due to a very unnecessary and unsavoury legal action against our property, we approached Barr Ellison for legal advice. We were definitely not disappointed with our choice. Extremely professional in every aspect of this firm, from reception, legals, and accounts departments over the three years. Linked to brilliant Fenner's Barristers (which we must mention, Alasdair Wilson ), a great team of exceptionally knowledgeable professionals.     100% Outcome Oriented

    Sarah Payne was exceptionally efficient in resolving a dispute with a company who was in breach of contract. It took prolonged negotiations and Sarah was always on top of things. She managed to get an excellent outcome for me without having to go to court. Sarah took the stress out of a difficult situation. Highly recommended.

    Boundary Dispute

    Our neighbour laid claim to a section of our front garden after we had erected a fence within our plot, set back from the boundary. The fence was purely a physical barrier to keep our dog in and was placed where it was to avoid disturbing an existing hedge. Our property is semi-detached with our neighbour and, despite the new fence clearly being nowhere near the boundary of the two properties (the party wall line), our neighbour refused to relinquish the piece of our garden they had colonised up to our fence. Our solicitor Sarah calmly, efficiently and professionally guided us through to a successful outcome to this dispute. With Sarah’s help we spent a couple of years trying to resolve the issue amicably, but when this failed we had no option but to take our neighbour to court. This action was successful with the judge finding fully in our favour.

    Sarah Payne from Barr Ellison quickly brought clarity to what felt like quite a complicated residential leasehold matter. She provided excellent advice, drafted letters and documents promptly and accurately and was courteous and professional at all times.
