Very Highly Recommended

Sarah Payne from Barr Ellison quickly brought clarity to what felt like quite a complicated residential leasehold matter. She provided excellent advice, drafted letters and documents promptly and accurately and was courteous and professional at all times. Sarah was superb in answering my many questions and she offered additional help, as required, whilst keeping within her initial estimate of cost.
I have used Barr Ellison previously for a lease extension and I can continue to recommend them very highly.

I am appalled that you have taken money from my sale yet seven days afterwards no bill. I must say throughout my sale I have lots of concerns and it now now seems on a single sale at £550000 you have charged me 3750. Had no bill you just took it. I am going to report you to the Law Society.

I can't recommend Barr Ellison enough. Helen and Tracey completed the legal work on our house purchase and I would recommend them both to anyone. As part of that purchase, Helen met with us to chat through questions we had. Helen really knows what she's talking about but she is also very skilled in communicating complicated things very clearly. With her help, we were able to understand what various potential problems really meant and what the potential risk to us looked like. When we hit some hiccups in our purchase, Helen gave us clear, calm guidance that proved invaluable. The legal pack we received was thorough and much more detailed than anything we have received for either of our other two previous house sales (this was our first time using Barr Ellison). Finally, something else that really stood out to me was just how kind Helen has always been at every interaction. Helen is really exceptional, and as much as I hope we won't move home again for the next 20 years, if we do, we will go straight back to Barr Ellison. Worth every penny, and despite our meetings and countless emails, the legal work still came in at the original estimated cost. Thank you so much.

Worst experience I ever had with this company. Karen Anker made my divorce procedure into nightmare. I never received any support from her she never advised me as her client and no support been given what so ever. Besides that she started to communicate with the respondent which lead to total scenario change

I am trying to help my niece to inherit her aunt who lived in Cambridge.We are situated in Norway.Over many months there has been very little response from this firm. Numerous emails have been sent and absolutely no response. How difficult could it be to collect some information and tell my niece the way forward?The absolutely worst response is absolutely silence. We actually dont know how to proceed.
