Quick and professional

Review of Karen Anker
I would highly recommend Karen. I left an abusive partner with a young child and my ex’s behaviour was very unpleasant and challenging throughout the divorce process. I went through a child arrangement order hearing and a financial hearing and Karen was fantastic throughout, going on occasions above and beyond. I had frequent contact with Karen due to my ex’s behaviour and she always replied swiftly to emails and was available to talk to on the phone where needed. The information she provided was always well thought through, thorough, sound, to the point and extremely beneficial. In addition, when an action on her behalf was agreed such as writing to my ex’s solicitor she often wrote the first draft that same day or the day after. Her client care was also outstanding and I felt I always knew what was happening or going to happen and generally felt well looked after throughout the process. This excellent communication really made the whole stressful process much easier to deal with and was a send. I was represented in court by barristers sourced by Karen. All 3 of my barristers were highly complementary of Karen’s outstanding work, which I think speaks volumes of Karen’s abilities. I was recommended Karen by a friend and I will definitely return to Karen if the need arose.

Karen Anker
Karen was firm & extremely knowledgeable which was exactly what I needed going through my divorce. Karen explained the legal side & my options clearly when I couldn’t think clearly & doubted myself.

Helpful and supportive

Karen has been very professional and I am always impressed by the timely manner in which she responds to correspondence.
She is pleasant to deal with, while at the same time inspiring confidence that she can be robust if the task calls for it and that she knows what she is talking about.
In general I find Barr Ellison to be professional and competent, and yet their pricing does not make them inaccessible, which to my mind makes them excellent value for money. They are now the first law firm I will approach whenever I'm in need of legal services.

Divorce
Excellent service.
Superb support with my divorce.
Working with me to explore all the options that were available to me, which were very clearly explained.
We had many challenges and inconsistencies, which were not helped in with a pandemic, making the process longer than needed. However I always felt assured that my case was important, was being handled professionally and was kept informed about the developments.
I have had an outstanding service and our recommend them to others.
