Helen leads the firm’s Residential Property Team. She is a Chartered Legal Executive with over 20 years’ service and has built up a strong knowledge of the local marketplace. Helen acts for private residential clients in all aspects of property work, as well as for developers in the sale of newly built properties to complement the services provided by our commercial property team. Helen has built up extensive experience of enfranchisement applications where apartment owners extend their apartment leases individually or collectively buy their freehold from the landlord under statute. Helen has a wealth of experience in dealing with trust property, and in the sale and purchase of properties by Deputies. Helen had the privilege of acting in a Cambridge record-breaking £3 million property transaction. Helen has a keen interest in adopting technological and procedural advances that will improve the firm’s conveyancing systems and is proud that Barr Ellison Cambridge Solicitors has embraced the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme.

    Very excellent service!

    My husband and I are absolutely delighted about the service we have received from Helen Murphy of Barr Ellison solicitors as well as the rest of her team. She has been so professional and very helpful all throughout the entire process of buying our new home.
