Andrew was born and raised in Somerset and moved to Cardiff to complete his post-graduate Bar Vocational Course before being called to the Bar in 2007 and joining Mooneerams Solicitors in 2008. Following two years of training with the firm, Andrew cross-qualified as a Solicitor in 2010. After three years of working on the full range of injury claims, in 2013, Andrew transitioned to specialise in accidents at work and public liability claims, and currently supervises the firm’s caseload in these areas. Andrew is involved in a wide range of cases, from straightforward tripping accidents to industrial disease claims. He deals with some of the firm’s larger and more complex cases. Andrew is also an experienced medical negligence solicitor, handling a varied caseload of cases arising from errors made by medical practitioners and institutions. Andrew was appointed as a Director of the firm in 2021. Andrew strives to combine an empathetic and understanding approach to his clients needs, whilst maintaining a robust and non-nonsense stance when dealing with Defendants. He is actively involved in formulating and evolving the firm’s strategies and operational systems. Andrew lives in north Cardiff with his two young daughters. In his little spare time, he enjoys exploring the local area, running, boxing, and learning how to plait his daughters hair!
