Taken 8 years and reporting them to the legal ombudsman and they still haven’t finalised the simple purchase of buying some land off a neighbouring farmer who also used a solicitor in the same firm to make things easy. Once they had my money they couldn’t care less and have just ignored me. Avoid this company at all costs.
We would highly recommend Holley & Steer Solicitors. Barbara Cromey and her team were so good and helpful to work with throughout our sell and purchase we only wished we had used them previously. We had many issues to deal with but their friendliness and support was outstanding and nothing seemed too much trouble. Communication either by email of via the phone was always very polite, helpful, courteous and reassuring. Thank once again for looking after us.

We used Holley and Steer for our conveyancing for our recent house sale. I cannot recommend them enough. Barbara was extremely prompt with the never ending questions from our buyers solicitors (Merryweather) and she was extremely patient with them. She kept me informed and was able to deal with problems extremely quickly and professionally despite a tight deadline. Due to the government tax break for house buyers in 2021 the company was extremely busy and met the demand by working Saturdays and late evenings (unlike Merryweather solicitors who's secretary was away on holiday for a week and thus nothing got done for a while!!!). Extremely happy with Holley and Steer and would recommend them to anyone looking for conveyancing work.

Barbara Cromey dealt with the sale of a property in Hutton for us and the speed and efficiency with which she concluded the sale was outstanding. I would fully recommend her to anyone thinking of buying or selling a house .
