Outstanding service …
Nabil and Sajitha were a brilliant team to work with and enabled me to have a stress free sale and completion - which is contrary to many other experiences I’ve heard of. They were diligent, communicative and always responsive to the various tasks that needed to be completed. I felt entirely safe and secure in there ‘professional’ hands and I cannot recommend them and Leadenhall Law Group highly enough. Their fee was also incredibly competitive with no unforeseen extras whatsoever!

Not enough chasing or feedback
This is a difficult review to write as Nabil and I ended up best mates, but until he phoned me to say we had exchanged, I was not happy with him. Apart from two long phone calls in which he carefully explained what was going on, I felt very frustrated with the lack of communication and his failure to answer my emails or supply me with simple updates when requested. He explained that this is not the way he works, but I didn’t like not hearing from him. He was hampered, it is true, by the incompetence of the solicitor for my sellers, and also by the slowness of the property management company in providing vital information. Nevertheless, it took five months to complete a straightforward purchase and I very nearly lost my buyer. I felt he could have done much more chasing. If it hadn’t been for two absolutely excellent estate agents and a motivated and highly proactive seller, the whole thing would have fallen through. It was simply one of the most stressful and distressing times I have ever experienced.
I don’t think solicitors realise what a bad effect they can have on clients’ physical and emotional health.
I was already unhappy with Leadenhall in Norwich — I had engaged them for both sale and purchase, and it took them I think about two months to realise that the flat I was buying was in a building over four storeys high, which is why I was then passed to Nabil at Leadenhall in London. I had chosen Leadenhall Norwich because it was the cheapest of three solicitors. I already knew about the ‘four storey’ ruling, as other solicitors had told me they hadn’t got the requisite knowledge to deal with it. But Leadenhall didn’t bother to check the height of the building when they took me on. I assumed this meant they must know, as it is literally round the corner from their offices, so I was aghast when I was told I would have to pay an extra £500 to be passed to the London office, which deals with taller buildings.
The day before we exchanged I wrote Nabil a really stiff email about his various failings. When we made friends after the exchange, I told him I was worried I had killed him and we had a good laugh. It was very nice to do that, and I now feel warmly towards him, but I felt I had to give an accurate assessment of my experience with Leadenhall since invited to do so.

Great experience
Nabil was fantastic throughout the process and answered all my questions. He explained every step and was always available when needed. I never had to chase him on anything and this made the whole process very smooth. Thanks Nabil

Caring, Reliable and efficient
