Complicated lease manoeuvres
MJ helped on two related transactions - the surrender and re-grant of new leases in a small block, and the sale of one of the leases once renewed. The surrender/regrant was complicated by the sale of one of the leases while the process was underway, and involved three other parties (one of whom was separately represented) and their lenders' solicitors. There were many challenges relating to timing and the varying degrees of responsiveness on the part of other parties. Despite these frustrations, MJ never failed to impress with her personable manner, her ability to manage the many moving parts involved, taking the initiative to chase up other parties and keep me informed of progress. As a retired solicitor myself, I recognised the quality of service she provided and would happily recommend her.
