I was facing allegations which if I had been convicted of would mean immediate custody

Mohammed Zeb - Crime Dept
My brother suffers with severe anxiety and was due appear in court for drink and drug driving, looking at potential custodial 6 months, prolonged ban and substantial fine.
The initial meeting:
Our initial meeting took place on the day of the court case - my brother was unwilling to speak to or liaise with Mr Zeb prior to this due to crippling anxiety. He was unable to leave home and remained bed bound. To his credit, Mr Zeb initially declined to represent as he felt it wasn't in anyone's interest for him to represent a client he had not prepped, however following comprehensive discussion with family he still showed up to court 8.45am and waited for us.
When he finally met my brother he calmed him, addressed his anxiety and kept him in a positive frame of mind to deal with the legal proceedings due to take place.
Advice to clinet:
Mr Zeb was thorough in his analysis, succinct in his advice and covered all potential outcomes, making it clear what he would fight for and how he would negotiate to try and attain the best possible outcome. He clarified the mitigation he would present and talked my brother through the general process, this further helping to ease my brother's worries.
In court:
Mr Zeb was undeterred by last minute ammendments put forward by prosecutors, spoke authoritatively, urged leniency through his professional and assertive approach. He offered reassurance to my brother and kept us updated throughout proceedings. He has a skill of presenting information confidently, giving the judges food for thought even with simple decisions - this resulted in the judges leaving the court room to discuss the case further to take into account what Mr Zeb had put forward .
The Result -
Due to the nature of offence and aggravating factors, my brother was due to receive a minimum ban totalling 17months - this reduced to 12 months, in addition to a £350 fine and community order.
More than this, his advice to my brother to make adjustments in his life to deal with anxiety and personal challenges was invaluable.
I would most definitely recommend Mr Zeb, he is highly skilled in what he does and this was apparant from the moment we met face to face. Couldn't recommend Mr Zeb highly enough. More than his professionalism, I commend how approachable he is and how clearly he communicates. He is dealing with people and their lives as opposed to case numbers.

I was represented by Mohammed Zeb of Blackfriars Law, who is trained in many facets of the law and has had many years of successful experience behind him. In this particular instance he represented my son for criminal charges
I am completely satisfied with his highly competent and professional service, provided in both a friendly and accessible manner which meant that my son who was only 18 years of age felt comfortable and was able to understand what was expected of him. It was clearly explained to us the possible outcomes of the hearing. Once we appeared at court I was very impressed how prepared he was and how well versed he was with the court system. He spoke clearly and succinctly in front of the judge and conducted himself in a professional manner. He worked diligently and was able to prevent a custodial sentence for my son, once we left the hearing he took the time to explain what the judgment was and how it affected my son.

I will be honest; I never heard of Mohammed Zeb, but when my father needed legal assistance and the very name popped up, all I heard was good reviews. I have never been in a situation when I have needed to seek legal advice and representation and very quick too, but I can say it was a decision I did not regret at all, asking Mohammed Zeb to help my father. Given it was in times of Covid, I cannot credit the effort from the Mohammed Zeb to ensure it felt like he was there for us at all times. My father was not in the best of himself to seek information on who to represent him, so I did this for him as his next of kin and for his bests interest. Mohammed Zeb was referred to me through family, friends and professionals. Surprisingly as a Managing Director, which I know how busy they can be, I was able to speak to him at first hand and it was the re-assurance and professionalism I received, that I knew I was in great hands. Mohammed Zeb informed me of the legal procedures and advised me accordingly to my father’s situation every step of the way from arrest through to sentencing. My father gave permission for to act as his representative to liaise with his Legal Team – Mohammed Zeb and his professionalism was outstanding.
When my father was in custody, Mohammed Zeb ensured my father’s health and wellbeing was taken care of. Mohammed Zeb liaised with me after he saw my father and informed of the steps they would be taking from there onwards. Considering the event was around New Years, Mohammed Zeb made sure my father was able to attend the Magistrates Court on New Years Day so my father could settle in on remand instead of being unstable in custody. Anytime time or day, I picked up my phone to call Mohammed Zeb, he answered and was re-assuring in the circumstances, I cannot credit this man enough. Due to how busy Mohammed Zeb was, he was there every step of the way to help and support. Any questions I had, whether they seemed silly to me, I still asked Mohammed Zeb made sure I got the right information to understand what my question was. Any information or update either of us knew of, informed each straight. I admire how Mohammed Zeb made my case such a priority like it was the only one he was dealing but in reality, he was dealing with many more, the ability to ensure your clients needs at all times, is a skill in itself and I credit Mohammed Zeb for this because he went above and beyond, which I appreciated now and still do! Mohammed Zeb tried so much in dealing with the prison, to see my father while on remand and in times of Covid, through video links and on numerous occasions in person. This suited my father best, for his comfort and ease, seeing and dealing with people face to face.
The sentencing was set for another day in Birmingham, on this initial date, Sam R was not available, so Mohammed Zeb made sure this was re-arranged and successfully it was. the date has been re-scheduled, which meant Sentencing would take place in Stafford combined Court. We all made the joint effort of commuting for this, to ensure my father still got Sam R to represent him and my word, was he amazing and his submissions to the judge were to the point. The result we got was by far the best considering the circumstances. I can say, I am happy I went with Mohammed Zeb, I have recommended him on numerous occasions to others since. I cannot be thankful enough to Mohammed Zeb, an amazing and down to earth human being who gave immense support with everything. Hats off to this man, Mohammed Zeb! 😊

Excellent service

All credit to amazing Mohammed zeb
Im not a type of person who usally leaves a review especially when it comes. To. Solicitors. I needed proper quality service for my case so, i was referred to Mohammed Zeb.
