I am a truly passionate and skilled Children Law Specialist with over 11 years’ experience in the field. At the heart of family law is “family” and I understand that instructing a solicitor in this area is not an easy task. It will likely be one of the most difficult things you are ever faced with. Resolving issues is key in family law. Attention to detail is my forte alongside my calm and approachable manner. I will help you achieve your objectives with care and precision but with clear goals in getting you there. During my career I have represented many parents and relatives of families in both private and public law proceedings. Many of my cases are complex involving such matters as allegations of domestic abuse, allegations of harm and parental alienation. I regularly undertake my own advocacy and in one of my earliest cases as a qualified solicitor, I secured findings of fact in a heavily contested Children Act Matter in the Family Court, for a parent who was found to be the victim of domestic abuse. I have expertise in all aspects of family law but I specialise in Children Law matters particularly disputes concerning arrangements for children. I have a vast amount of experience in dealing with both national and international family law disputes including: Non Molestation Orders ,Occupation Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, disputes as to where a child will go to nursery/school and temporary and permanent removal of a child from the jurisdiction (England and Wales). I am committed to resolving family law issues in a constructive and positive manner. For cases involving children matters, I encourage a child-focused approach, putting the needs of the children first.

    This was the second time I had to go to court over a family law issue. I was understandably nervous and anxious over the whole ideal. However McAlister and in particular Melissa Jones were fantastic. They were very professional and helped to put my mind at ease with the ins and puts ofnthe court experience. They were very cost effective also, having worries about how much the process would cost they helped me manage cost issues with regular invoice updates thoroughly explaining in detail every associated cost. Melissa was available whenever needed to help explain the various processes. Even offering support out of office hours. In all I can't thank Mcalister and Melissa enough for all their help in making it a smooth and expedient process, putting my mind at ease and offering exceptional professionalism in their work. I would highly reccomend McAlister and Melissa in particular to anyone needing help legally.

    Outstanding Service
