I am a Chartered Legal Executive at Amphlett Lissimore and I work in the Private Client department. I specialise in Wills, Probate, Court of Protection applications, registration of Enduring Power of Attorney, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. I have worked in this area of law since February 2014 and previously I worked in litigation for over 8 years. I have dealt with the usual applications for deputyship in the Court of Protection, as well dealing with more uncommon applications, for example applying for the removal of an Attorney on registration on an Enduring Power of Attorney because they had abused their powers and stolen money from the Donor. I am based in our West Wickham office but also provide services at our Crystal Palace and Bromley offices, home visits are also available upon request.

    Renewing my Will

    My experience at Amphlett Lissimore (West Wickham) was an enjoyable one, much to my surprise. Katie Brett was charming, and put me at ease straight away. She was professional and very knowledgeable about renewing Wills. She answered all my questions and others I hadn't thought of. I was sent a draft copy of the new Will which I checked over then went and signed it a few weeks later.

    Will writing and Forms re: Bank

    Already recommended to friends! On both occasions, my visits to the solicitors have been wonderfully helpful. I was greeted with friendliness, given advice clearly, and problems were quickly ironed out. I handed all, what were to me, legal complications over to extremely capable hands and left with a sense of relief and a feeling of calm. Everything was explained clearly.

    Katie Brett, based in West Wickham, was patient, kind, and took time to help me sort out a simple will. She is a credit to the firm. I am a technical dinosaur, but she explained things to me in a way I could understand, not rushing me in any way / checking that what I required was done in a friendly, but efficient way.
