Wonderful service
Leah went out of her way to help me when mum died. She explained the process thoroughly from arranging the funeral to selling mum’s things.
She was friendly and always contactable and professional. She applied for probate quickly and was proactive with chasing courts. I would use Birkett long again because of Leah. I’ll be in touch once I can sell mum’s houses.

Great, five stars and highly recommend Leah. She was caring and took the time to get to know me and my husband when she helped with poa and recommended we update our wills as our family dynamic had changed a lot since our ones in 2007. We will use Leah again

Leah is exactly what you want from a solicitor
After my father's death, Leah handled probate and organised a will and powers of attorney for me.
I could not have asked for more professional and competent service.
Leah was patient and clear in explaining legal niceties and processes. She was obviously actually thinking about what would be important for me and my family, rather than just following standard procedure. I'm pretty sure she saved me money by finding the most efficient way to do things, and her proactive advice has saved me a lot of potential effort and difficulty.
She was always available if I had questions. She did everything she said she was going to do, exactly when she said she'd do it. I've dealt with many solicitors over the years, and all too often had to chase them to get any progress - but with Leah it was the other way around, as she'd give me a polite reminder when she was waiting for me to do something. The first time I've been chased up by a solicitor!
I highly recommend Leah to anyone looking for help with family or personal affairs.

Great service
I am very impressed with the service I received. Leah made everything so easy for me and took a lot of pressure away from me and my brother. Although dad’s estate got delayed (no fault of her own, it was the banks) she kept me informed throughout and was always available when I had queries. She spoke highly of BL and her colleagues and said it was a great place to work. I felt at ease by her and the reception. I will be coming back for a joint will soon

Great!
Great experience in updating my will and making power of attorney. Made easy by Leah. She was very clear and I was kept updated when the court was taking a while to complete the documents

Great and professional
My wife and I needed professional advice to draw up our wills and power of attorney. Leah provided thorough advice and had great attention to detail. My dad died midway through Leah helping us with our wills and told me to take my time and helped guide me in what to do. She helped me find estate agents to sell dad’s house and helped get probate. She kept me informed throughout. I’ve been impressed with her knowledge and found her very caring and empathetic and took away the burden of completing paperwork etc.

Great work
It was lovely to meet Leah, she was clear in explaining what we did and didn’t need to include in our wills and gave tax advice. Everything was accurate and I have recommended Leah to my friends. Great job!

Excellent
Leah was really diligent and from the initial will appointment with her was able to send a draft out to me and for me to approve it and sign it within a week. A great turnaround. Very accurate.
She was very knowledgeable on Inheritance Tax and answered by endless queries!

Excellent
Nothing was too much trouble for Leah. She did a great job with my Will and power of attorney. I’ve told my family to get their legal docs with Leah. Very happy and will highly recommend. Polite and friendly and had a lot of legal knowledge.

Making of a new will
Leah Woodlee was extremely professional from the very start of the process. Nothing was a foolish question and the end result was exactly as requested. I felt very comfortable that my will is as I requested and Birkett Long are executors because I trust them completely.
