When I telephoned to make an appointment for a solicitor to visit my home, no one appeared at the agreed time; upon enquiring why this was, I was told there was no record of the appointment. However, as soon as they traced the phone calls that set up the appointment, the firm was very prompt in arranging a new appointment, for the following day. From that point on, the service provided by the visiting solicitor was excellent. The service was friendly and helpful, and the wills were completed and signed within a week.

Very slow and uninspiring service. Felt we had to make the running and deal with things that Sharman's should have known about and completed efficiently. Probate was completed 2 years after death. Issues with availability of the solicitor meant that it never felt like a personal of customer service orientated probate.

We were very happy with the speed and professionalism demonstrated. At the initial meeting Marta very clearly explained things and identified various issues that we had not considered. We would certainly use Sharmans again in the future.

Our first requirement was to renew our wills and the initial contact by telephone was very helpful. The subsequent first meeting was at the firm's Ampthill premises as more convenient being closer to our address. We brought the requested information and given excellent explanation and advice clarifying a legal matter contained in the previous wills that I add were not drawn up by Sharmans.
The documents were prepared within the timeframe advised at the initial meeting and were signed / witnessed the following week at the same premises. The costs subsequently invoiced were as originally advised.
An another matter not involving wills, came to light shortly afterwards and Marta and her team again quickly explained all the issues over the telephone and by email to resolve our queries and to prepare and submit the necessary paperwork.
