An excellent and successful Service
I was extremely nervous about starting the process to get sibling contact for my child. I couldn’t thank Gillian and Sophie at McCarthy Bennet Holland Solicitors Llp more. The service they provided was fantastic. They communicated with me regularly, explained areas I wasn’t clear about and helped me put down on paper what I was unable to say verbally. I would highly recommend this firm and will use again if I should ever need to.

Property dispute
Before obtaining advice from Heather I had little confidence in being successful, however, the guidance I received was excellent. My dispute was handled extremely efficiently and I was kept very well informed. I am grateful to both Gillian and Heather at MBH, thank you.

Poor Advice, Will never use again.
From the outset was given poor advice that cost dearly. Was advised one course of action that cost £500 on its own and in hindsight there could have been no other alternative. Paperwork was not ready at one hearing and solicitor laughed out of court which was highly embarrassing for her and myself. Constantly made written errors as to content and emails backwards and forwards (at a price) instead of getting it right first time. Handed over to a trainee without being consulted. I could go on and on. In fact felt totally ripped off but in to deep to change solicitors. In fact in hindsight the best course of action would have been to deal with it all myself. I feel as though I had my money stolen from me as the cost and pricing was ridiculous when the bulk of the work was completed by my partner. I would be very reluctant to ever use this firm again. However, I guess the fault is with this particular solicitor. A small reduction in the fee was made but overall cost was enormous and certainly did not get the service to match the price. I feel very scarred from this experience and feel like a victim. An experience I would never wish to repeat.

Excellent service throughout
I can’t recommend MBH more highly, their service was excellent throughout the handling of my case. Although a difficult time this was handled with sensitivity and professionalism. The fact that the solicitors were part of resolution appealed to me as they looked for a more child centric approach which was exactly what I wanted.
I was especially pleased with the way I was kept up to date throughout and the way I was kept informed of any charges.
I was so pleased with them I decided to complete my will with them as a second service.
