My daughter was going through a horrendous divorce, and we received conflicting advice from the head of a local (Camberley) family Law Solicitor. Despite their claim to relieve stress! they in fact increased this with a softly softly approach in answer to the opposing solicitor's aggressive approach. In order to settle She even suggested that we meet the respondents claim to close matters, causing even more problems. (She stated she was stressed herself!)
Fortunately my Grandaughter contacted Paul Prentice who proved to be very understanding and proactive and together with his very able Barrister colleague was able to present our case and prove the respondent was giving false statements etc, and conducting the case so well that the matter was resolved to our satisfaction.

Five star solicitor

Matrimonial case

Child legal services
I worked with Zara to get child custody of my daughter during the COVID lockdowns. Although Zara was available and often did her job well, I found she was not very clear at explaining the complexities of the legal system to me and I often ended up confused as to our approach.
I was also not particularly impressed with the barristers Zara brought on, one of whome had internet issues during the hearing, which went down badly with the judge. The second barrister was better but very expensive.

Child access
I was shut out of my children’s lives and at a loss at how to improve matters. It was thanks to Zara that things are now back on track. She championed my corner personally, supporting me professionally and ferociously. I am very grateful to her.

Thorough and Helpful
I approached Prentice Family Law to help me with my divorce after reading excellent reviews online.
My solicitor, Zara, has been so warm, informative, supportive and helpful during my divorce. Zara has so much knowledge and helped me to feel much more confident in my approach to my divorce. It was always a pleasure to speak with Zara, my only small criticism is that sometimes Zara was very busy, but I believe this is a sign of how popular and hard working Zara is and I feel it is worth noting that Zara would even make time to speak to me when she was unwell with Covid so not to let me down. I appreciate all that Zara has done to help me and would be happy to recommend Zara to anyone looking for legal help and advice during divorce.

Excellent Service
Despite not being the most lucrative divorce in history, Zara provided a dedicated service from the frank informative initial discussion where she laid out exactly what needed to be done, to writing the legal document, always preserving the best interests of my family. I would highly recommend.

Great service!
My experience of working with Prentice Family Law has been excellent. From the first phone call, I was treated with respect and I was provided with lots of support through my divorce. Their service has definitely made the process much easier than it would have been otherwise. Couldn't recommend them enough.
