Orion is a legal professional with a strong academic background and diverse experience in various areas of law. He holds a 2:1 LLB Law degree from Leeds university and completed his LLM/LPC at Nottingham Law School. Orion started his legal career as a paralegal in corporate law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions before joining Elliot Mather, initially working in our property law department, focusing on conveyancing. However his passion for criminal law led him to transfer to the crime team at Mansfield as a Trainee Solicitor in April 2024 where he went on to qualify as a Solicitor in January 2026. Orion regularly attends the police station to represent clients and he is working towards his police station accreditation. He also assists with Magistrates court and Crown Court cases across Nottinghamshire and will often attend Crown Court to offer support and assistance to clients and barristers, to achieve the best possible outcomes in their cases. Whilst working as part of a busy criminal team can be unpredictable and challenging, Orion likes the fact that no two days are ever the same. Clients respond well to his friendly manner and his ability to give practical and straight forward legal advice. He has been a huge asset to the team.
