Whilst studying her LLB Honours degree at the University of Glasgow, Meghan volunteered at her local Citizens Advice Bureau providing those who need it quick and free access to legal advice. Outside of this, Meghan worked in a family law firm to gain experience in a workplace setting and build upon her knowledge of court procedure and dealing with legal documentation. Meghan graduated from the University of Glasgow with her LLB Honours Degree in June 2024. She went on to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow. Meghan began working for Thompsons within the General Accident team in April 2025 in a pre-trainee role and commenced her traineeship with the firm in June 2025. Meghan enjoys the client-centred approach when pursuing Personal Injury claims on behalf of those who have sustained injuries as a result of an accident. She is driven by client satisfaction and is dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients, getting the justice they deserve.

    Incredible service from Thompsons Solicitors via Meghan Durning.

    I genuinely cant thank Meghan Durning enough for the outstanding service she has provided re my accident claim. She was so informative and every step of the way she would call me up, ask me how I was, then take her time to explain the stage we were at re my claim. She never rushed me or blinded me with terminology I couldn't understand! There was also no delays - she was always in communication with me. My compensation claim has ended with a settlement that I am so happy with and will change a lot of things for me. This is all thanks to Meghan & Thompsons Solicitors.
