Sunil joined the Trusts & Estates team in May 2022 as an Associate based in the Cranleigh office. Since he qualified as a solicitor he has worked in firms with offices in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Surrey. After graduating from Sussex University with a degree in Law with French, he decided to travel abroad for a year or so. Nineteen years later, after having set up an English language school/consultancy a stone’s throw from the Amalfi Coast, he returned to the UK to fulfil his childhood ambition of qualifying as a solicitor. Sunil has worked in the Private Client field for over 11 years, specialising in Wills, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship applications to the Court of Protection, all the while taking courses and qualifications to improve his skills and knowledge.

I had just moved into the area and was looking for a a solicitor to update my will having recently had a family bereavement. I walked into Hart Brown at Cranleigh to a very warm welcome. I always think the first contact point is the most important as within a few minutes I had decided that this was the place for me. The staff helped me make an appointment with Sunil Vasisht and the process got started. Sunil was very professional, but with added value. The service I received was exceptional. My problems with hearing, sight and mobility were handled perfectly - I received all documentation in large print. The staff were caring and considerate and Sunil was patient in explaining details. Overall, an exceptional service.

Vicki Andrews was very pleasant, very personable and totally professional. We were very happy with her handling our work. She replied to questions in a timely manner and was thorough in her explanations and was honest about timescales (Office of the Public Guardian).
