Our family has endured unimaginable trauma following the stillbirth of my granddaughter, baby Vienna. This was my daughter’s first baby, a moment in her life that should have been filled with joy, excitement, and dreams for the future. Instead, all of that hope was shattered in an instant, leaving my daughter and our entire family with a grief so deep that it has changed our lives forever. The trauma my daughter has carried since losing her baby has been overwhelming. She has had to face day after day of heartbreak, confusion, and emotional pain that no mother should ever have to experience. Watching her try to rebuild her life while grieving her first child has been devastating. As her mum, you want nothing more than to take that unbearable pain away and lift it from her shoulders, but you simply cannot. All you can do is stand beside her, even when your own heart is breaking. Throughout this incredibly difficult journey, I cannot express enough gratitude to Danielle. Danielle didn’t just support us legally; she supported us emotionally too. She understood the depth of my daughter’s grief and treated her with compassion, patience, kindness, and genuine humanity.
