I had a difficult case on with the Insolvency Service where the Investigator deemed that a disqualification was in order. I found Suky and Higgs online and am so glad I did. Suky listened to me and my accountant and prepared a very well worded appeal statement. We were recommended the services of Suky by a very experienced & specialist lawyer in the insolvency sector to defend against a perspective court hearing for preference claim. Given that we are a dogmatic & litigious company by nature - not normally disposed to settle - it was a fundamental requirement to have a very tough lawyer to fight our corner from the outset: Suky is exceptionally tenacious and proved to be the perfect lawyer to represent us against an equally litigious PLC opponent. That said, if a client like us is determined to pursue a legal battle which ultimately may not achieve the best outcome financially, you need to have a lawyer onside whose judgment you can trust. We were a new client and Suky quickly built rapport with us due to her friendly and approachable personality: we felt that we could trust her judgment to achieve the best outcome for us. That honest approach saved us a lot of money in perspective litigation fees, (which obviously does not benefit the law firm), and importantly it served to reinforce the integrity & values of both Suky and Higgs LLP. Suky is an excellent lawyer. We will not hesitate to use her services again in the the future and Higgs LLP.
