With over 35 years’ experience in the industry, Darren has accumulated a wealth of experience, having started his career as a trainee at one of the largest and most successful corporate estate agencies in the south of England. Rapidly gaining promotion, at the age of twenty-one he was the company’s youngest ever Branch Manager, later becoming Area Partner. Having successfully created, developed, and sold his own independent agency business, Darren moved to Scotland, a country he visited often and loved so much that he decided to make it his home. Darren has gained a reputation for innovation and excellence in all facets of real estate sales and management. “I love the idea of “no jargon” – solicitors without the fluff. Darren and team were excellent to work with across our chained sale and purchase. Extremely communicative and always quick to find answers when needed. The sales team were swift and efficient, resulting in a number of offers and acceptance within 10 days of listing. They represented the seller for the property we purchased as well, so helped to ensure end-to-end completion. Highly recommend these professionals.

Excellent experience all round with Darren & Hamaad, highly recommend
We had an excellent experience in the purchase of our property on Arran. Darren & the team at Watermans were brilliant with Hamaad being our Solicitor were professional, experienced, and on call when you need them most! solving any problems that arise quickly and incredibly efficient! Any worries or stress were solved allowing us to purchase a beautiful place on the Isle of Arran, so we have no hesitation in highly reccomending and adding 5*stars for a job very well done! Fantastic service from start to finish
Darren sorted absolutely everything out for us, from finding our dream home, recommending, Nick, our financial advisor to the wonderful Rebecca Ross , who was alway available to answer all my “ questions” not used to the Scottish way of buying a house these guys guided me through every step, and were there for me at every stage!
I only wish it was this simple in England!
