I qualified as a solicitor in 2008 having completed my training at Morecrofts. I became a Senior Associate of the firm in 2021 and I am based in the city centre office. I have been an accredited member of the Law Society’s Children Law Panel since 2016. I specialise in children act disputes, working on both public and private law proceedings and representing parents, extended family members (including prospective special guardians) and children.I advise clients in relation to disputes as to where children should live and what time they should be spending with other family members and how that time can be managed safely. This would include advising clients whose family has become involved with social services due to child protection concerns and also after a final care order has been made to consider whether the plan remains the best one. As part of that, I enjoy helping clients to access support to bring about changes so that they can overcome challenges to their parenting, and challenging the local authority at times when they are failing to take those changes into account.

    From start to finish Ellie has been amazing! I don’t have a bad word to say about her.
