Advice in relation to challenging an LPA and contesting a Will
I sought legal advice with Elizabeth Stiddard of Gough's Solicitors, Chippenham in relation to concerns over the granting of an LPA and also the potential future contesting of a Will. Elizabeth reviewed the information that I had provided her with and gave me options of what I could reaslistically do to challenge an LPA, which included a solicitor's letter being sent to the sole power of attorney, and also instructing a civil remedy by way of a pre-action disclosure. Elizabeth also provided advice in relation to lodging a caveat to a Will. Her advice was clear to understand, she explained any legal jargon where necessary and she was impartial with no pressure made to engage with any further legal services with Gough's Solicitors. She was very attentive and understanding of my concerns and the sensitive situation. Her knowledge and ethical approach was reassuring and should I need to seek further legal advice then I would not hesitate in approaching Elizabeth in the future.
