Selling my Childhood Home
Losing a parent is never easy, loosing both within a short time of each other can be paralysing. Selling my childhood home could have been a long drawn out process, however the solicitors I spoke and emailed with helped make it so much easier. They jumped through hoops we weren't expecting asking for as little as possible from a grieving family but treating us with respect and dignity when paperwork was required. I would highly recommend them to friends and family as I found them to be both professional and compassionate.

Happy House Move

Transfer of property deeds
We have used Wilson’s in Horsforth before for property purchases and found them to be responsive and reliable. We dealt with one solicitor and she was really helpful and efficient. On this occasion our experience has been completely different. It took months to transfer the deeds from being in our name to that of a family member who lives there. No sale was made, no money exchanged hands. I thought it would be quick and straightforward. Despite explaining the above to every solicitor we spoke to (there were several) the whole process was treated as a sale process - lots of irrelevant online form-filling and emails from different people asking questions that did not apply.
