Losing a parent is never easy, loosing both within a short time of each other can be paralysing. Selling my childhood home could have been a long drawn out process, however the solicitors I spoke and emailed with helped make it so much easier. They jumped through hoops we weren't expecting asking for as little as possible from a grieving family but treating us with respect and dignity when paperwork was required. I would highly recommend them to friends and family as I found them to be both professional and compassionate.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Wilson’s Solicitors handled the purchase of my house and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I agreed to buy the property in early May, yet completion didn’t happen until the end of October – despite me being a cash buyer, with no chain, and the property standing empty. Even the estate agent, with 30 years in the industry, said it was the worst conveyancing process he had ever witnessed.
Our solicitor, Lois Calder, was completely unprofessional and painfully slow. A simple final fee calculation was wrong three times – basic maths adding three numbers together! Now, 9 months later, I am still waiting for the deeds to my property and have had zero updates from Lois, despite chasing her directly.
If you want a solicitor who is competent, communicative, and efficient, look elsewhere. I would never use Wilson’s Solicitors again and strongly advise others to avoid them.

I dealt with them on behalf of my mum for her house purchase, and the experience was appalling. Despite being a cash buyer, no chain, and the property sitting empty, it took from May until the end of October to complete. They were so painfully slow and unresponsive that we had to contact the Legal Ombudsman just to get things moving.
Our solicitor, Lois Calder, was unprofessional – even the final fee was miscalculated three times (basic maths!). They are almost impossible to contact by phone and only respond to emails sporadically.
It’s now 9 months later and we’re still waiting on the deeds, with no updates despite chasing. Do not use Wilson’s Solicitors – it’s been the worst service we’ve ever experienced.

Communication was slow at first, but excellent towards the end. Hasan really pushed to complete. Hasan was working all hours to get this over the line at the end. Jack and Luke were also great and customer service overall was really good. Thanks everyone for your hard work.
