Clive is a solicitor and the Managing Director of Watkins and Gunn. He is the Head of the Personal Injury Team and deals with employment law matters.
He has been qualified as a Solicitor for over 30 years and is a Member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is recommended as a leading personal injury lawyer in both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners publications.
In his personal injury work he has significant experience of all aspects of personal injury with a particular emphasis on workplace accident cases, serious and fatal road traffic accidents accidents and brain injury cases. Clive is a Member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
In his employment law work Clive has advised individuals, trade unions and small business clients for over 30 years including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, settlement agreements, restrictive covenants, contractual disputes and industrial action. He has particular expertise in executive termination agreements.
Clive won the Leading Wales Award for Leadership in the Private Sector 2011. He has active interest in local law society work - he is a member of the Law Society's Wales Committee and their Law Management Section , a Past President of Cardiff & District Law Society, the Monmouthshire Incorporated Law Society and ASWLS (the Association of South Western Law Societies).

Clive was absolutely excellent throughout the whole of my personal injury claim, following a road traffic incident. He kept me fully informed at every stage of the process. Fantastic advice and very reassuring
