Michael started his career with Thompsons Solicitors in July 2019 in our Contact Centre. In his role there he assisted with a wide variety of cases at the earliest stage including road traffic accidents, employment issues and cases of historical abuse. It was in this role that Michael was able to work with survivors of abuse and focused on providing a client centred service. In 2020, Michael joined the Survivors Team first as a paralegal before commencing his traineeship in February 2021. Michael qualified as a solicitor in February 2023 and continued his work withing the Survivor Team for a year before moving to our Accident Team where he continues his client centred approach in both pre-litigated, and litigated cases involving employers, public, and occupier’s liability claims. Michael specialises in civil litigation and has advanced cases at all levels of court within Scotland. He is certified as Trauma Aware by the Law Society in Scotland following his time in our Survivor Team.
