I honestly can’t thank the team enough for everything they did throughout my case. From the very beginning, the communication was excellent, and I was always kept informed about what was happening. They took the time to listen to me, my concerns, and my views, and I always felt that my voice mattered. I never felt pressured into making decisions, and they made sure my wishes were put forward and respected throughout the process. My solicitor Alannah, took over my case part way through, which I was understandably a little anxious about, but she was absolutely brilliant! She quickly got to know my case, called me for a chat as soon as she started and made me feel completely at ease. She showed genuine compassion, kindness and understanding during what was an incredibly difficult and emotional time for me. I always felt listened to, supported, and reassured, and she never made me feel like I was just another case. Anytime i needed to ask anything or give my views on anything Alannah was so quick to respond, with such detail and guidance. I felt so listened to and understood. The whole team were professional, approachable and responsive, and I always knew I could contact them if I had any questions or worries. Their dedication and support made a very stressful experience much easier to get through. Ann Logan and Alannah Jones of Balfour & Manson were my principal points of contact over the 3 years of my case prior to its successful resolution. Alannah was the Senior Solicitor responsible through most of the case for its day to day management. Ann as the Partner was, however, always closely involved and fully informed about the progress of the case and due to other circumstances took overall direct responsibility in the concluding phase of the case. This survey asks that I click the relevant factors that describe the firm as represented by Alannah and Ann, such as professionalism, honesty, knowledge etc. I have clicked every one of these factors as I can honestly say that throughout the 3 years of my case there was never an instance when I was left questioning ANY aspect of Ann or Alannah's work. Both were the epitome of professionalism, be it in their advice, their knowledge, communication or any aspect of their engagement with me. Possibly the one omission from the factors listed in the survey is CARING. Perhaps it's more relevant in cases of medical negligence that the client's experiences that brought them to seeking legal redress are understood at a more emotional level. Ann and Alannah showed many times in their interactions with me that they cared. I could ask any question and I would receive a complete and expansive answer that clearly demonstrated their desire to ensure that I understood matters and they would always make sure to allay my worries. At the latter stages of the case when Ann was directly responsible for all matters, her expertise was clear to see - calm, thorough, assured, thoughtful, rigorous. In summary, one word describes my experience with Balfour & Manson - Outstanding. Sincere thanks to Ann and Alannah.
