Siôn is an experienced Associate at the firm and a key member of Darwin Gray’s highly respected Dispute Resolution team. He is a specialist property litigation solicitor and advises commercial landlords and tenants on a wide range of complex property issues.
Siôn has extensive experience of conducting very high-value litigation and has been involved in several complex and high-profile claims in the High Court and Residential Property Tribunal Wales. He is able to advise parties on everything from seeking to avoid potential litigation to progressing a case to trial. He is quick to grasp complex legal problems and understands the commercial issues at play in order to help parties resolve their disputes quickly.
He regularly advises some of the largest Housing Associations in Wales and is trusted by large private companies and public bodies to resolve their disputes. Siôn has a very diverse practice which includes contractual disputes, professional negligence claim, landlord and tenant notices, rent arrears, dilapidations, construction disputes and boundary issues. He has a wealth of experience in assisting small and large businesses whenever property issues arise.
Siôn also has experience of advising on legislation and conducting litigation relating to Welsh Administrative Law and takes particular interest in issues relating to the Welsh language. He has been involved in a high-profile dispute in the Welsh language Tribunal and a judicial review claim in the Administrative Court for Wales. As a fluent Welsh-speaker, Siôn regularly advises clients and conducts litigation through the medium of Welsh. He is also a regular and trusted contributor to Welsh media on various legal issues.

Getting possession of my property
Sfon and his team which was made up of Mike and Ciara were very helpful in understanding my situation about the problems I was facing with my tenants and provided me advice and direction as to what was necessary and how things would play in our initial call, and the updates were at the right periods of time to keep me informed at all levels, I would recommend them and would reuse their services again.

Dispute resolution
We have used Siôn Fôn over the past months to resolve a dispute with our tenant, Sion has guide us through the whole TORT process and also through some difficult times with other stakeholders .His advice was proactively responsive and dare I say brave with our difficult case.
We are now hopeful the process is drawing to a close but rest assured if we need any more advice, we wont hesitate to contact him for efficient and effective advice.

Helpful across several cases in short timeframe
I have used Darwin Gray for two main issues recently - firstly suing a builder who walked off a job - Sion helped me negotiate and receive a settlement in an awkward case and before the need to go to court. He was helpful, approachable and provided great advice to guide me on the right track in chasing this.
Secondly Siobhan and Stephen assisted with a commercial transaction involving sometimes complex and urgent interactions with govt. regulatory bodies as well as a tight overall deadline. They were very responsive and helpful in dealing with a myriad of issues created by several parties (buyer, seller, government, agents and solicitors) being involved in the process. This also involved multiple sub-cases dealing with some employment law and landlord/tenant contracts as part of the larger transaction.
Overall very happy with their help and approach and will return - hopefully not too soon!

First class service - Diolch yn fawr
I had incredible advice and guidance from Darwin Gray in what could have been an awkward matter. Not only was the advice solid they also saved me tens of thousands of pounds. Since then, when I have needed legal advice, I have been signposted to other firms with relevant expertise that Darwin Gray did not have - and those recommendations have been first class too. Their client care did not end with the final bill - this week I was able to contact the firm again and they provided me with information from the original case in a timely and efficient manner. Fantastic solicitor
We were lucky enough to gain Siôn Fôn’s services to represent us, he is very thorough, listens to what your needs are, he’s honest and will tell you if your expectations can be reach or not.
Very good communication nothing was to much trouble for him, always available.
There’s a stigma that solicitors will fleece you, I can honestly tell you Darwyn Gray are definitely not in this category.
I can highly recommend Siôn Fôn, and as his first language is Welsh this was indeed an added bonus for us.
