    Absolutely great

    Thompsons were amazing in dealing with my claim from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, I could never have achieved my settlement without them. My solicitor, Emma, gave me such good advice and kept in touch in such a sensitive and kind manner that I felt able to carry on and go to appeal when CICA's first offer was the minimum amount available. The appeal resulted in a substantial amount of compensation for lifelong trauma which had led to me living in much reduced circumstances. The settlement will provide me with a much-needed cushion for my approaching old age and I am very grateful to the firm. I recommend them highly.

    First class and successful outcome

    I began my journey with Thomson’s not knowing what to expect and very quickly my fears were put at ease by the kind and caring nature of Emma. Professional to the hilt she helped me to feel that I mattered and enabled me to tell my story of the abuse I suffered as a child in a care setting. In doing so I was able to have my story told and my voice heard. The local authorities admitted liability and this led to a successful and more than satisfactory outcome to my case.     Great job

    As a survivor of childhood trauma, I find it difficult to trust people. I also feel inadequate communication and being around other females. So I was a bit apprehensive when I started my journey with Emma, but with her professionalism, empathy and non judgemental attitude, and commitment, my journey was made easier and I did not feel the need at any time to put my protective barriers up. This leading to a positive outcome. I am now feeling for the first time in my adult life that the weights i have been carrying have been lifted from my shoulders. I believe that our journey would have turned out differently, if Emma did not have the qualities that she has. Thank you.
