Setting aside a court order for sale
We instructed Higgs Solicitors back in June 2025 after finding ourselves( and 2 other sets of neighbours, three properties in total) in a legal tangle between investors and builders of whom we purchased our homes from back in January 2015. We was presented out of the blue in May 2025 with court orders to allow these investors to sell our homes from under us, this has been such a legal tangle that even the solicitors hadn't come across a case like this where an investor turns up nearly 11years down the line to say they own our homes. They have kept us informed of proceedings through out and given us the reality outcomes, whilst putting all their efforts into getting the order set aside. The reality of being made homeless through no fault of ours has been unreal and hard to put into words, however Nyree Applegarth, Zahra Zafar and the rest of the team have been so supportive and sympathetic towards us and never given us false hope. They fought hard to get us the desired and right outcome. Our first case was 21/8/25 were they managed to get an adjournment because of irregularities, the second case was 4/12/25, I will never be able to put into words how grateful we are for their support and help in getting us justice and the order set aside. Now they are helping us prepare the next battle and I have every faith in them that they will do their best for us.
