I joined Higgs in December 2022 as a Partner in the Serious Injury Team. Prior to this, I was at Simpson Millar/Colemans-ctts for over 23 years where I successfully headed up the RTA Department from 2008. I am a solicitor with over 20 years’ experience of dealing with serious injuries which have resulted in life changing injuries. As I deal with clients who have suffered traumatic experience and life changing injuries, I develop a strong bond with them. I strongly believe in early rehabilitation and treatment to get my clients on the road to recovery. My expertise is in high value, catastrophic, life changing injuries and in particular complex orthopaedic injuries, spinal injury, fatalities, amputations and brain injury and have frequently secured multi-million pound settlements. I am a past chair and I am currently vice chair and a Director of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS). I am concerned with protecting and maintaining the interests of people injured in road collisions and I fight to ensure access to justice. I am regularly asked to consult with the Ministry of Justice and other stakeholders on procedural and legislative changes which impact on those injured in road collisions. Through my work with MASS, I have attended regular meetings with the Justice Secretary, MPs and civil servants. In addition, I have written a number of publications and lectured at a number of conferences, on the radio and I have also been a judge at a number of Personal injury awards ceremonies.

    Could not have got to the line with my sanity intact without you guys THANK YOU!!

    Outstanding law firm

    I have never in my life been treated the way I have been with Simon at higgs and his team outstanding professionalism most of these lawyers can be kinda scary and you feel intimidated by them even though they're there to help but with Simon it was completely the opposite not once did I feel uncomfortable or pressured into making any the decisions going through with the case. He is very genuine all throughout the case he would ask about my family my day ect I have some troubles with my memory and mobility since the accident and I can get very irate very quickly but no matter my mood or manner I was always met with comfort and professionalism. I couldn't fault my experience at all I will highly recommended them to anyone who needs such a lawyer
