Gill and Ema were absolutely excellent from start to finish and made what could have been a stressful process feel so much easier. Their communication was outstanding, responding to any queries on the very same day and always keeping us updated throughout. What really stood out was how proactive and organised they were — they were always multiple steps ahead, anticipating what needed to be done before we even had to ask. As first-time buyers, this gave us so much confidence and peace of mind, knowing everything was being handled so efficiently and professionally. A huge thank you to Gill and Ema for all their hard work, support, and attention to detail. We instructed Peacock and Co for what we thought would be a straightforward property purchase. As first-time cash buyers, we wondered: what could possibly go wrong? Unfortunately, quite a lot. We ended up in a chain of four, the property documents were not in order, and there were several delays. Eventually, the chain collapsed. We then had to make a new offer and deal with new paperwork for the same property. Through it all, Ema and Gillian at the Epsom office were outstanding. They stayed with us, fought our corner, and tirelessly chased the other parties involved. We received stellar service throughout the 12 months it took to secure the property we truly wanted. We are very grateful to Peacock and Co Solicitors, and especially to Ema and Gillian.

I can’t recommend Ema and her executive assistant Gill highly enough for their work on my recent property purchase. It was not a straightforward transaction; the property was bought via online auction and involved a back-to-back completion, where I was purchasing from a company that itself completed only hours earlier on the same day. To add another layer of complexity, it originated as a probate sale. Despite all of this, Ema handled everything with calm professionalism, precision, and clear strategic thinking. Ema was consistently thorough, proactive, and reassuring, explaining each step clearly and anticipating issues before they became problems. Gill was equally fantastic — responsive, organised, and always on top of the detail, making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Together they made what could have been an extremely stressful process feel smooth and well managed. Their communication was excellent throughout, deadlines were met under tight pressure, and I always felt confident that my transaction was in very capable hands. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, everything completed successfully against challenging timelines. If you’re looking for a conveyancing team that’s knowledgeable, efficient, and genuinely cares about getting things right, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ema and Gill.
