We instructed Peacock and Co for what we thought would be a straightforward property purchase. As first-time cash buyers, we wondered: what could possibly go wrong? Unfortunately, quite a lot. We ended up in a chain of four, the property documents were not in order, and there were several delays. Eventually, the chain collapsed. We then had to make a new offer and deal with new paperwork for the same property. Through it all, Ema and Gillian at the Epsom office were outstanding. They stayed with us, fought our corner, and tirelessly chased the other parties involved. We received stellar service throughout the 12 months it took to secure the property we truly wanted.
