The main issues we had were with certain communications and in particular internal miscommunications within the DO Office. Largely we were happy with the service received, and we achieved the sale with your help which was a huge relief. The service was friendly and Nigel and Amanda were accessible and supportive when needed which was appreciated. But the miscommunications and certain errors - which I am pleased to say have now been discussed and dealt with, mean that we can not give 10/10 recommendation to family of friends.

Always feel valued as a customer , making the legal issues & processes understandable, feel you can ask questions if you don’t understand the legal language etc Very approachable and personable as opposed to some lawyers I’ve experienced who frankly come across as arrogant professionals

Debenhams Ottaway have now assisted me directly with two transactions - the initial sale of my flat (which was a little complicated due to the involvement of an unrelated third-party solicitor) and the later purchase of my new flat. Nigel Drake and his assistant Amanda Baker were both helpful and friendly throughout (as was Stuart Harries, who had a brief involvement during the sale process) and kept me up to date with what was happening. There were some complications and delays (caused by a third-party), but they kept things moving as much as they were able under the circumstances and got everything resolved. Overall I am very satisfied with the service provided.
