Associate Solicitor

I am an Associate within the Firm's Family Division and based at our Kidderminster office. I advise clients on a full range of issues arising out of relationship breakdown including divorce, financial settlements and disputes concerning children. I also provide advice regarding Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements; Living Together Agreements and Separation Agreements, and support clients in respect of domestic violence injunctions under the Family Law Act. I represent clients in complex, high value financial matters, including matters involving Intervener applications and non-disclosure of assets, as well as advising client’s clients in complex and highly sensitive private children law matters, to include allegations of domestic abuse and alienating behaviours. Each client is dealing with a unique set of circumstances and has different aims and objectives. I provide practical advice, helping clients find the best solution in a proportionate and cost-effective way. While litigation is sometimes necessary, I recognise that it is often beneficial to both sides to reach a negotiated settlement through alternative routes and works to settle cases outside of court where possible. I obtained my First Class Law degree from the University of Nottingham in 2019, where I won the John Hooper & Co award for academic excellence in Family Law. I then went on to achieve a Distinction in my LPC LLM at the University of Law in Birmingham before joining the Firm as Trainee in 2020.
