I have been working in family law for 21 years and was based in Salisbury for 14 years heading up a Family Department, before joining Goughs. I joined Goughs in 2019 and am delighted to now be a Partner in the firm. I am experienced in dealing with all areas of family law, including children, divorce, separation, finances, cohabitation, and separation agreements together with pre and post nuptial agreements. I have frequently advised on children matters including child arrangement orders, specific issue orders, prohibited step orders, and removal from the jurisdiction, together with financial settlement upon the breakdown of a relationship. I have a particular interest in domestic abuse and previously ran a legal clinic in conjunction with several domestic abuse support organisations. I enjoy dealing with a variety of matters and am expanding further into pre and post nuptial agreements.

Getting through a divorce!
I chose Goughs initially as they are local to me but I am so glad when I was warmly welcomed by Natalie. She was so patient and understanding especially dealing with somebody who really quite frightened at the prospect of what whas happening and didn't know which way to turn first!.
She dealt with everything in a kind and professional way which gave me the courage to stick to my guns with the demands that were made of me. Her attention to detail never wavered.
She would make herself available to be contacted easily and never failed to return a call or email, sometimes late into the evenings.
I cannot thank her enough for guiding me through the unenviable process, from start to finish, and also to the rest of her team.

Felt very undersood throughout
It was a very difficult time for me and both Natalie and Samantha were very good and understanding of what I was going through.
