Kavitha studied at Liverpool University and graduated with an honours degree in Law in 1996.
She attended Chester Law College and qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and was articled to Leslie Trevor of Burtons Solicitors.
Kavitha began her career at Tinklin Springall Solicitors where she gained valuable experience and became a partner in Residential conveyancing.
Kavitha then joined Thackray Williams as a partner in 2007 and in 2008 she started her own practise in Shortlands, which she successfully managed providing legal services to her clients. She then merged with another firm based in Crystal palace where she ran their Bromley office.
Kavitha joined Judge & Priestley as a partner in 2019 to enable her to fulfil her ambitions.
Kavitha is experienced in all aspects of freehold and leasehold conveyancing, pre-auction advice and review of Legal Packs, re-mortgages, transfers of equity transactions, and lease extensions by agreement.

Buying and Selling a property
I Can't thank Kavitha and her team enough for the hard work and dedication they have undertaken to ensure the buying and selling of my property on separate occasions went as smoothly and quickly as possible. Kavitha and her team were always at the end of the phone or email whenever I needed them, the response time from the team was very quick no matter what time of day. If they said they would check something, they would always get back with a response at the soonest possibility. I was kept in the loop throughout the whole process. Kavitha also provided pastoral support throughout the sale and was very understanding and compassionate throughout. I again can not express my gratitude and thanks to the team.

House Sale

Fantastic service from a very efficient and professional team.
I was highly impressed with the level of service provided by Kavitha and her team from the first telephone contact, my first visit to Judge&Priestley's Bromley office (to leave forms TA6 and TA10, provide i/d etc), subsequent exchanges of correspondence and telephone calls and visits to Bromley through to property sale completion.
Everything was dealt with speedily, professionally and with a smile.
The process was very efficient and enquiries were answered quickly and with clarity. There was always somebody on the end of the telephone if I had cause to call.
I highly recommend and cannot praise Kavitha enough for her customer care and professionalism.
On a separate matter the ground floor waiting area and meeting rooms were very comfortable and welcoming areas.

Conveyancing with Judge and Priestley
This is the second time we have used the conveyancing department at Judge and Priestley.
Kavitha and the team have again been outstanding. We were given a very prompt, helpful and professional service. All paperwork was thoroughly checked and very pertinent queries raised.

Empathetic
I read some of the reviews in here and couldn’t agree more with the glowing commendation of Kavitha and her team. I had the same excellent experience for the sale of my late brother in law’s flat.
What I really appreciate is how “empathetic” Kavitha was in her dealings with me, and the way she stuck to her legal advice when it would be easier to compromise to get the sale through.
Kavitha and her team had to deal with a very difficult sale – 1st time buyers; solicitor who was difficult, unresponsive and disorganised; and a leased property with a Section 20 hanging over it. Add to that she had to deal with several maintenance companies; and a dysfunctional RTM !
We also had to overcome the recent cyber hack which Kavitha/ team dealt with effectively - unlike “the opposition” where we had to resend documents just to help out to get the sale exchanged and completed within 2 to 3 days.
It wasn’t even an expensive property, but the service provided was just the same! The dealings with Kavitha were the only bright spark during a very difficult period winding up the estate.
So thanks Kavitha and all the best for the future.

Outstanding service.
We used J&P for selling our property in Beckenham and the purchase of a house in Hampshire. Our first purchase fell through and we then offered on a chain free property knowing we had to complete quickly to maintain our chain. Kavitha Rajah and her amazing team pulled out all the stops to make the purchase possible, keeping us informed of every development and going the extra mile in order for us to achieve our dream. We cannot praise the entire team highly enough. Kavitha is very reassuring and handled our conveyancing with professionalism.

Conveyancing
This is the fourth time I’ve gone to Judge and Priestley for conveyancing and I really cannot recommend them highly enough. The first two times were with Louise (Beckenham office) and the last two times with Kavitha (Bromley office). My husband and I had a particularly challenging purchase this last year - a probate property, which suffered numerous delays and a really difficult / disorganised solicitor on the seller's side. After almost 11 months of waiting, we finally received news that the probate was granted…but our mortgage offer was due to run out in less than a month and the whole purchase was in danger of falling through. Kavitha and her team were absolutely on it. They were so organised and worked quickly to make sure everything was ready…and I’m so happy to say we completed in time!
Kavitha and her team gave us peace of mind throughout the whole process. They were not only professional and very responsive, but personable at the same time, which made all the difference to a difficult purchase. There’s a lot to think about when moving house. With Judge and Priestley, I felt we had at least one less worry off our minds and I would recommend them without hesitation.
