Kavitha and the team were efficient, professional and very helpful during the whole process of our house sale. There were a few bumps along the way, from the other side, but the follow through from all at Judge Priestley was exemplary. Would highly recommend them and will most certainly be using them in the future.

Nimalee Bastian-Carter has helped us so much throughout this past year, cannot thank her enough.
We first engaged her to help my Mum sort her Will and LPA. My Mum couldn’t leave the house so Nimalee came out to her, talked through everything with her and made her feel so supported throughout the whole process. Mum was very happy with the service she received and was reassured to know it was being handled in such a kind and professional manner.
We then had to move my Mum to a care home, but sadly her health declined and she died a few months later. Although I was executor, I found everything a bit overwhelming as we had the house sale to deal with also. So again I turned to Nimalee and she helped us through the whole process, dealing with the estate which was quite a complicated process.
Nimalee is always professional but kind. Many times I didn’t understand the process and Nimalee would take time to explain things to me. She always replied promptly to my emails and kept me fully updated.
I would definitely recommend Nimalee and Judge and Priestley to someone needing help with these services. Nimalee has helped me through a difficult time in my life and I will always be grateful to her for this.

My husband and I wanted to renew our old, mirror wills. I 'Googled' solicitors, will writing and executors. I read a number of reviews, and eventually selected Judge and Priestley. I made contact with the firm by phone, and was given the name of the solicitor who would be dealing with our case. We met Russell Ali face to face in a couple of days or so. Everything went well. Every aspect was explained to us clearly. We were treated with respect. The solicitor was knowledgeable and attentive. The mirror wills were signed and finalised in less than a week.We were very happy with the service received.

Excellent - Kavitha Raja and her team were outstanding. Kavitha was handed my case by another firm of solicitors with barely any handover. Kavitha handled it amazingly. She went out of her way to help me and my aunt get back on track, going above and beyond her normal working hours and what was expected of her. Kavitha kept me updated the whole time and replied to enquiries within minutes most times. Kavitha and her team were put under a great deal of pressure as there was time commitments involved. I cannot explain how grateful I am to her and her team. I must mention Hayley Rawlinson too as she stepped in and stepped up when Kavitha was on annual leave. Brilliant. Just shows the professionalism within this firm. Hayley - you will go far! (Especially having Kavitha as your mentor) THANK YOU TO YOU BOTH.

Sarah was brilliant and reinstilled my faith in British law and justice! On a personal level her empathy, understanding and advice has so far been exemplary and invaluable (especially as it has allowed me to get some much needed sleep!!).

I hired the firm to conduct resealing a Canadian Grant of Probate in order to release funds left by my late husband in a UK bank. This required filing Inheritance Tax forms with HMRC, applying for UK Probate and communicating with the bank on my behalf. The process was slow as the firm had to abide by HMRC/Probate Court timings but I found Ms. Bastian Carter and her staff pleasant to communicate with and responsive to my needs and am pleased at the successful outcome of my case.
