I was represented by Heather Lucy of McAlister Family Law in navigating the financial settlement of a divorce in which communication had broken down. Heather's conduct and navigation through this process was exemplary. Naturally, I found the whole situation difficult and wanted nothing more to navigate it as smoothly as possible with as little drama as possible and not have an unneccesary fight with my ex-wife's solicitor. Heather not only facilitated this but where my ex-wife's solicitor was difficult and unprofessional, Heather disarmed the situation to get us back on track and did so in a manner that built and reinforced trust in her capabilities. I am very, very grateful for her skill, demeanour, and character. When I was finding things particularly difficult she reached out to give me some contacts to help my situation. She in no way had to do that but this level of professional care should be recognized.
