Karen is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Legal Executives and has over 20 years’ experience of working in the Family Law field. Karen specialises in the following areas of Family Law:- Domestic Abuse Child Arrangements Divorce and Financial Settlements Living together agreements Cohabitation Civil partnership Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements Karen has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the above areas and she has dealt with numerous complex children cases involving emotional, physical or sexual abuse and also, cases of parental alienation. She has represented parents, grandparents and wider family members. Karen has a particular interest in cases featuring domestic abuse and has been closely involved with local refuges for a number of years and also, Women’s Aid and Victim Support. Domestic abuse very often filters through when a parent has safeguarding concerns when allowing contact with the non-resident parent following a relationship breakdown. This also comes through when a party may be considering grounds for divorce. Being a mum and a grandmother herself, Karen understands the feelings and emotions surrounding children and will do her absolute best to make the procedure and process as smooth as possible for you. Karen has worked in the Midlands and has been in the Black Country for the last 12 years and strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients, offering bespoke advice and excellent client care. She is passionate about meeting her client’s needs and managing their expectations in a conciliatory manner.
