Jeremy Ferris is a Partner and CEDR Accredited Mediator within the Furley Page Dispute Resolution team. He has very wide ranging experience of many aspects of litigation, but has a particular interest in disputes arising out of commercial property given that he was a qualified chartered surveyor in both government and private practice for several years before retraining as a solicitor. Core activities include actions for breach of covenant, forfeiture & possession claims, dilapidations claims, actions for rent & service charge, advice in respect of contested & uncontested lease renewals, rent review disputes, disputes arising over easements. Also large development site assembly schemes and the full range of contentious property matters. He has been recognised by The Legal 500 for his expertise in property disputes. His other main area of practice is Contested trust and Probate actions. That includes challenges to the capacity of the testator, undue influence, claims for dependants under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act, forged wills, removal of executors, disputes as to the meaning of provisions in wills and all other contentious issues that may arise in that arena. Jeremy became a CEDR accredited Mediator in 2021 and is a member of the Civil Mediation Council.

Thank you

Thank you, Jeremy, for your work to resolve our dispute. Despite the lengthy process and pushbacks from them, it was a great result by us in the end, and good to see that with some element of common sense a resolve was found. On behalf of us all, I send our thanks and appreciation for the time you spent working on this.
