Helen Martin

New Enquiry Administrator

Helen currently works in our Medical Negligence department as both a new enquiry administrator and medical paginator. Helen is the first point of call for all medical negligence enquiries.  Initially qualifying as a Social Worker, Helen began her career in Children and Families and Mental Health Social Work, giving a solid background in Children and Families, Mental Health and Community Care Law. Later going on to retrain in musculoskeletal and soft tissue rehabilitation work, Helen has worked extensively both in the public and private sector with clients with injuries due to accidents or injuries at work. In this time she worked within these teams in business development, to spearhead and manage this provision for under-served groups. Most recently, Helen has worked as part of the Nursing Staff within Specialist Spinal Injuries, Covid-19 and General Hospital Wards. Later going on to specialise to work directly with people with Spinal Injuries and Acquired Brain Injuries that had directly resulted from Catastrophic Injury or Direct Clinical Negligence. Being friendly and approachable, Helen hopes to bring her previous varied legal and clinical experience with people who have suffered both clinical negligence and injury, to provide a professional, swift and accessible service.
