We went with Stephens Wilmot upon the recommendation of a family member who had used them previously and due to other good reviews and their very competitive pricing. They adapted quickly when we had to change our property purchase, and communication and efficiency was overall good, however we did have a crossover of staff due to maternity leave of one so that put things behind a little and at times we felt it wasn't easy to get an answer about how things were proceeding. Having gone with a higher rated and higher cost solicitor for our previous transaction we can see the difference that made, however Stephens Wilmot did a good job overall and things proceeded fairly smoothly overall so anyone looking for a more budget option that works I would recommend but if you want to have someone you know you can get in touch with super quick then may be best to go for the higher end.

Stephens Wilmot Solicitors provided an excellent conveyancing service from start to finish. The process of buying a house and going through the conveyancing process is never easy and definitely not stress free but the service from Stephens Wilmot was fantastic. We started the process being looked after by Lindsey Bowen and was eventually passed over to Natalie Arlett-Buffery, both of them were fantastic communicators and provided us with very quick responses to any queries that we raised throughout the process. They completed all the legal checks incredibly quickly and were very thorough to ensure that nothing was missed on our purchase file, including pointing out that indemnity insurance was required. I’d highly recommend them as the solicitor to go for if you require a conveyancer for your house sale / purchase as you can be guaranteed to receive fast responses to ensure you’re never left in the dark during a frustrating and stressful process.

Stephens Wilmot have been absolutely brilliant in the sale of our property. It turned out to be much longer and more complicated than we ever could have expected and the whole way through Natalie was amazing.
