I am a Partner and Head of Balfour+Manson’s employment law team. I am accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in employment law and am a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association. I act principally for employers in a variety of industries, with a large number of clients in hospitality, charities, sports and manufacturing. I provide day-to-day employment law support to clients as well as dealing with litigation. My contentious experience extends to all types of claims in the Employment Tribunal along with defending claims in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal. I also act for senior executives in termination negotiations. My advice takes a commercially-minded and risk-based approach tailored to each client. This approach helps my clients to achieve the results they want quickly and without unnecessary delays, processes and complications.
