Alex McKerron

Associate & Chartered Legal Executive

Alex became a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019 and joined our Parks team in 2021. She was promoted to Associate in January 2023. Working alongside Amy Cater and Kelly Burns, she specialises in planning and local government work. She supports clients navigating the legal processes, from preparing planning applications and certificates of lawfulness applications to advising on planning enforcement. She has particular specialism in assisting developers, housebuilders and registered providers with their new or prospective developments. This can include planning reviews of prospective sites and matters such as applying for diversion of a highway/footpath required in connection with the development. Alex enjoys the fact that planning law contains such a breadth of topics that no two days are the same. In her spare time she enjoys keeping active through activities such as paddleboarding and running; she also enjoys baking.
