Medical Negligence Claim
Bringing a medical negligence claim is quite daunting. Although I had undertaken a lot of research myself, I knew nothing of the process. I learnt early on that what was important to me unfortunately might not be addressed. Michaela ensured I was aware of this which helped to manage my expectations of how things would progress and ultimately what would happen when dealing with the Defenders. I felt at times I was asking silly questions, but Michaela always reassured me and never made me feel I was being unreasonable.
Doing the above is a long drawn-out process but in my opinion it was worth it. Although my Surgeon did not accept liability for the errors she made, the Independent Medical Reports confirmed mistakes had been made and that was enough for me.
I would not hesitate to recommend Michaela due to her knowledge, understanding and her ability to put me at ease.

Dental Claim

Litigation
This must the most highly effective litigation team in Scotland. So it's absolutely no surprise to me when I saw litigation team of the year 2020 award on their website. I had the pleasure dealing with the lovely michaela guthrie who was beyond exceptional for me so understanding and professional throughout even putting up with cry baby phone calls at the start of this claim 4 years ago. Litigation against NHS Scotland
