Verity joined Thomas Flavell & Sons in September 2025 as a Senior Associate Solicitor within the Conveyancing team. She studied Law (LLB) and completed the Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University, leaving in 2002. Since then, Verity has gained over 23 years of experience in the legal profession. She began her career at Rich & Carr Solicitors, progressing from Paralegal to Associate Solicitor during her 17 years there, before moving to BHW Solicitors where she worked as an Associate Solicitor and later Partner. Verity specialises in all areas of residential conveyancing, including sales and purchases of registered and unregistered properties, re-mortgages (residential and company), leasehold transactions, new builds, shared ownership, staircasing, equity release and right to buy. She has also previously undertaken work in wills and probate, preparing wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate applications. Away from the office, Verity enjoys an active lifestyle with her horse and three dogs, alongside running, hiking, and spending time with her rugby-loving family. She is most proud of her children and the balance she maintains between her professional and personal life. Verity is a member of the Leicestershire Law Society. Verity's supervisor is Chris Stratford, Head of Conveyancing and Director of the firm.

    Conveyancing - leasehold Holiday Apartment

    The process was made easy by Thomas Flavell & Sons' app. I also feel that Verity did a thorough job and looked after my interests. The only problem i experienced was the overall time it took to complete - 4 months in total. I don't blame TF&S for this, but I would have liked more proactive communication during this time. Verity managed to get the completion over the line before my drop dead date, which I am grateful for..

    House purchse

    Verity supported me through a very complex house sale and purchase. She kept me fully informed throughout. Verity actively took the lead of the chain to get everything over the line. I think the chain might have collapsed without her.

    Very professional

    We have had brilliant help with selling house nothing was too much trouble and they kept us informed all the way My only negative comment was on completion day we thought we might get email confirmation that buyers funds had gone into our bank account and final amount etc had to check ours selves the next day

    We were really pleased with the service provided by our solicitor throughout the process of buying our first property. Verity was efficient and proactive, acting quickly whenever needed and helping to chase things up to minimise delays from our side. Communication was always polite, clear, and professional. When it came to signing documents, everything was explained in detail, which made us feel confident and well-informed at every stage.
