REVIEW TITLED - AMAZING PROFESSIONAL SERVICE I first met Emma Davies from Nelsons Solicitors in January 2017 following nearly 3 years of multiple court applications and hearings regarding the contact sessions my daughter was having with her father. I had represented myself initially and then as proceedings continued had assistance from a Family Lawyer. My case was complex, I was seen as a hostile mother by Cafcass and all Court Orders reflected this. However I had one last chance to get my daughters wishes and feelings heard and for a Court Order to reflect this. Emma was recommended to me by both my previous solicitor who had moved from Leicestershire so could not act for me and a personal friend who is a family lawyer. It was unquestionably apparent from my initial meeting with Emma, her knowledge, experience, attitude and professionalism, that she was the one. Emma was frighteningly honest that my case was going to be very tough, so much was stacked against me and the chances of getting the "flexible, contact with the father only if my daughter wants it" Court Order was slim but there was a chance. Emma immediately got to grips with 3 years worth of a messy court bundle and off I went to the Family Court with an exceptionally well briefed barrister resulting in that my daughter was to be party to the proceedings with her own Cafcass Guardian and solicitor appointed to represent her and all contact with her father suspended which was exactly what was needed. I went back to the Family Court a further 2 times as the proceedings continued - each time, we got more small positive outcomes until finally I walked out of Leicester Family Court with a Court Order reflecting exactly my daughters wishes. None of this could or would have happened without Emma. Finally, my daughter and I can start to live life again. I would recommend Emma Davies without hesitation.
