Christopher John Furbey

We had a great experience with Chris Furbey throughout both our sale and purchase. Chris was always easy to reach, quick to respond and proactive in keeping everything moving. What really stood out was how patient and hardworking he was throughout the whole process. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and was always on top of what needed to happen next. We never felt like we had to chase him to get things moving. Chris is clearly very driven and committed to his clients, while also being genuinely down to earth and easy to deal with. Buying and selling a house can be stressful, but having someone so responsive and dependable handling the conveyancing made a huge difference. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking and approachable conveyancing solicitor.

I had an inherited property to sell and had the pleasure of Chris transacting and completing my sale. The whole process from start to finish was exemplar, a professional and first class service. Great value for money, expert legal advice, excellent and quick communication all around. The sale process faltered a couple of times prior to the eventual sale, due to the proposed buyers chain collapsing, Chris was brilliant through this period, patient, tenacious, while have to restart with three differing law firms. Proactively navigating to a final conclusion with a refreshing and clear advice. Chris is pragmatic, professional and approachable and an asset to Clifford Johnson. I would highly recommend for all legal work.

Right from the start Clifford Johnston were super efficient and proactive, with a no-nonsense, get it done attitude. Throughout the transaction Chris was very quick to reply to messages and enquiries, often within minutes. During a period while Chris was away, the file was handled by Colin who was just as efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and to use them again in future.

Chris recently acted for me on the sale of a property and I was extremely impressed throughout. Communication was excellent, advice was practical and straightforward, and he always kept things moving when other parties seemed determined to create delays. I particularly appreciated his no-nonsense approach and ability to explain matters clearly without unnecessary legal jargon. The transaction was not without its challenges, but Chris remained responsive, proactive and focused on getting the deal over the line. I always felt he had a firm grasp of the detail and was acting in my best interests. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient conveyancing solicitor. An excellent service from start to finish.

Chris managed the sale of my house on Didsbury Road. Throughout the journey Chris always kept me fully updated with progress & even answered emails well into the evening. The bill for his efforts was also great value which is a plus. Thank you Chris, professional & a great communicator.

If I could give more the 5 stars I would! I have recently completed the sale on my first home and Chris was amazing! It was a long sale with a few issues along the way but Chris dealt with them quickly and kept me updated and was very patient with all the questions I had! He worked hard to make sure I didn’t miss my mortgage cut off date and we made it on time! I will definitely look to use Clifford Johnston again!
