Anthony Willis is a Senior Associate Solicitor in BHP Law’s Employment team, based in Newcastle. He is a highly experienced employment solicitor advising both employers and employees on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Anthony acts for a wide range of clients, from individuals and senior executives to owner-managed businesses and corporate organisations. He is known for his pragmatic, commercially focused advice and his ability to guide clients through complex workplace issues with clarity and confidence. He has extensive experience in Employment Tribunal litigation and regularly represents clients in claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and TUPE. Experience & background Anthony has significant experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, acting for clients at all stages of the employment relationship—from recruitment and contractual arrangements through to disputes and termination. He regularly advises employers on managing workplace issues, including disciplinary processes, grievances, restructures and redundancies, ensuring compliance with employment law obligations while protecting commercial interests.
